About

DigiLearn was founded with the objective of bringing digital literacy to as many doorsteps as possible, so that anyone who is willing to learn about computers, but does not know how to, can be offered guidance and the tools to build their destiny in this constantly advancing world. The most digitally underserved people today belong to the underprivileged sections of society, where even digital exposure, let alone education, is a rarity. Thus, we at DigiLearn believe that the optimal way of achieving our ambition of imparting digital knowledge is through working for people, particularly students, who live under such circumstances.

DigiLearn works by first spreading awareness about the skills and methods that are necessary to make it in the world today, and progress up the social ladder. We achieve this by collaborating with local NGOs, and organising workshops and interactive sessions with students. In this manner we seek to encourage students to obtain a digital education, which we then try our best to make available by offering numerous resources. We are trying to teach kids not only about the fundamentals of operating a computer device, but also other important skills such as using the internet for academics, as well as knowledge of common yet important software such as those included in the MS Office.
